POMPlex is a CNC-machined reservoir produced with high quality aluminium and POM, to give a nice and clean look in any watercooling-loop. The reservoir has a unique construction which prevents the water from getting in contact with the aluminium to avoid corrosion. A plexi tube that fits neatly inside the aluminium body is sealed with o-rings. The lids, that provide pressure to the o-rings, are made in POM and are screwed directly on to the aluminium body. Note that the plexi-tube has no threading. This solution was chosen because threading in a plexi tube creates a weak point in many reservoirs because the tube tends to crack when the temperature changes and the plexi won't be able to expand. Furthermore the tube makes it possible to watch the water-level though the window. The inlet-adapter which is installed in the bottom of the reservoir is meant to prevent air bobbles from circulating in the watercooling system. The system has proved very effective, and can easily bleed out a powerful loop running with 200L/h. Often two fittings will be screwed into the lid. A 1/4" plug is sealing the third threat. The plug can easily be unscrewed to make room for a LED plug which gives a very cool visual effect. The mounting brackets safely locks the reservoir in place when it is inserted thanks to the grooved structure of the mount which fits perfectly into the reservoir's structure. This insures that the reservoir can easily be inserted and extracted when need without compromising safety. It is possible to turn the aluminium bracket 90 degrees. This gives even more options for mounting. Specifications:
